Confusing article
[edit]- founded by members of the Oxford Movement to counter Anglo-Catholic extremism
- Over time, the approach was modified: Anglo-Catholic contributions were accepted, and it became more tolerant of Roman Catholicism
This is really quite confusing. Before the emergence of Anglo-papalism, the Oxford Movement was itself the incarnation of Anglo-Catholic "extremism". How can admission of Anglo-Catholic contributions and tolerance of Roman Catholicism have been novelties introduced some time after the magazine's foundation if it was created by members of the foremost movement of Romanising Anglo-Catholics in the first place? 83.137.255.98 (talk) 09:09, 31 August 2017 (UTC)
